Within Kier Utilities we have been working alongside telecoms clients for many years, keeping our customers connected via broadband and digital TV installations, including designing and installing fibre. Working in partnership with Virgin Media since 2002, we have been responsible for bringing 445,000 connections and 100,000,000m fibre networks every year to customers throughout the UK.
As Fibre Splicer you will be responsible for carrying out all installation and testing tasks on the job packs, performing out of hour's emergency restoration works. (Evenings and weekends) and ensure all works are carried out with full regard for health and safety.
To be successful in the role you will hold a full driving licence have previous splicing experience along with strong knowledge of Health & Safety NRSWA requirements.
