Join us as a Field Business Development Manager

  • You’ll be acting as a business development  manager for a panel of brokers and working with other functions to expand our growth strategy
  • We’ll look to you to develop productive relationships with brokers to make sure they understand the business proposition and deliver fit for purpose client solutions
  • You’ll have a pivotal role as you support the development of the bank and grow accounts to meet our needs and strategy
  • This role is peripatetic and regionally based across the East London and South Essex region

What you'll do

As a Field Business Development Manager, you’ll be developing and implementing an effective contact strategy for our brokers and delivering and delivering excellent customer service to grow and meet our customers’ needs.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Making sure that key business goals are met in a manner consistent with the bank’s vision and values
  • Handling concerns and complaints at the first point of contact
  • Driving quality interactions through face to face and telephony contact with a panel of intermediaries
  • Driving a business plan to achieve all KPIs from a panel of intermediaries
  • Building a strong network of internal stakeholders and support your colleagues

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with experience of meeting and exceeding customer expectations, together with excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of the intermediary mortgage process and submission systems
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
