Job Description

The Role

This role requires the matching of NCA invoices against NHS secondary users service data, Summary Care Record Database, and NHS tariffs on a daily basis whilst resolving any outstanding issues that are preventing invoices being processed.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all invoices are considered within system escalation dates and standard payment timescales.

  • Locate and action invoices / credit notes using a wide range of functions available within the CCG’s invoice management system

  • Check NCA invoices against NHS secondary users service data, Summary Care Record Database, and NHS tariffs

  • Perform work effectively, following defined procedures and using appropriate discretion in handling non-routine cases

  • Plan and organise own work to ensure that activities are completed within agreed timescales

 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience Required

 

Good general education with high level of literacy and numeracy

 

Experience of working in a customer focused environment

Previously worked in similar position within the NHS, public or private sector

Ability to work within established policies, protocols and systems to ensure confidentiality of information, quality standards and performance

 

Intermediate knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Ability to deal with providers and customers directly, either over the phone or through email. Ability to confidently use Excel.
