We are looking for a PMO Project Control Officer to work as part of a PMO team to provide several key support functions, therefore contributing to the successful delivery of a complex IT program.  Your role will involve supporting Project Managers with a focus on project monitoring, financial control, and forecasting and updating key project KPIs within corporate systems.

The role may also require support to other PMO functions as applicable; this may include supporting change management, document management, procurement, and resource management. Therefore, working knowledge of these project functions will be desirable.   

Working as part of a wider PMO organization there will be future opportunities to support projects and programs across our business, allowing the development of new skills and experience to aid career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with the Project Programme Management team to ensure they proactively support successful delivery to our customers
  • Creation and maintenance of local processes
  • Supporting delivery teams to ensure Governance standards and processes are followed  

 

Your experience:

  • Background in supporting IT projects/programs
  • A working knowledge of the core PMO support functions (Reporting, Change, RAID, Finance, Planning)
  • Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project)
  • Strong focus on finance and preferably a working knowledge of SAP-based finance systems
