What you'll do

As a Financial Control & Reporting Analyst, you’ll help deliver monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting. You’ll also prepare segmental, legal entity and intercompany analysis and assist in the delivery of external reporting, budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and stress testing.

In this role, you’ll also:

  • Review and challenge consolidated results
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing packs for senior management
  • Manage changes in reporting requirements and deliver effective process improvements
  • Manage changes in reporting requirements and deliver effective process improvements
  • Follow operating procedures which include controls to meet policy requirements, and assist in establishing, enhancing, and documenting new controls

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for a qualified accountant or someone who is working towards this. You’ll have experience of preparing financial and management accounting information, ideally gained within a financial services environment.

You'll also bring:

  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing key financial deliverables
  • An understanding and knowledge of financial analysis
  • An astute eye for detail and the ability to investigate issues effectively
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues
  • The ability to identify, build and enhance key relationships
