Flight Line/Documentation Supervisor (B5T) in T2 Forward

About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Line/Docs Supervisor.

You'll be responsible for managing and controlling all aircraft flight line movements documentation associated with the maintenance and Forward operations of the Hawk TMk2 aircraft. Manage/direct all flight line personnel to ensure as far as reasonably practicable the Health, Safety and Welfare at Work of all employees is maintained.

Main Duties & Responsibilties:
Ensuring that all Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental Policies and Procedures are followed.
Management of aircraft documentation and airworthiness of aircraft on the Flight Line.
Maintain compliance with BAES MOE/AMCs at all times.
Carry out random quality checks on the validity and integrity of data within Sapphire.
Monitor short-term maintenance and liaise with Rectification Controller for the most efficient solutions.
Manage and anticipate OOP maintenance to minimise the raising of ADFs and extensions.
Liaising with key customers, including other contractors and MoD, to ensure that targets are being met.
Monitoring attendance, bringing persistent offenders to the attention of the senior controller.
Managing On the Job training, including the correct raising of paperwork, and manage personnel SQEP criteria.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to have completed Supervisory Management training, BTEC National Diploma / NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds level 2 in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent and extensive, proven supervisory experience within the aircraft industry.


What else do I need to know?
* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
