We are looking for an inspiring and motivated tutor to join The Rycotewood Furniture team, as part of our Creative Industries faculty based at Oxford College.  You will develop and teach level 2 and 3 Furniture apprenticeship standards to a group of learners. You will have the ability to nurture new and develop learners existing skills set by delivering innovative and creative block release sessions to ensure our learners succeed towards their ultimate goal in becoming an expert in furniture making.

This a part time (22.2 hours per week), permanent contract.


What do you need to be successful in this role?

You will have extensive knowledge of the subject area and can engage and interact with students in a positive manner to ensure they are set up to succeed their end goal qualification.

Industry experience and/or a level 3/4 qualification in relevant subject area is required.

In addition the successful candidate will have experience training/tutoring others and a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners and within industry.
