Global Mobility Advisor
Would you like to work in a business facing role with the opportunity to support on some exciting international programmes? We currently have a vacancy for a Global Mobility Advisor at our site in Portway - Preston.
As a Global Mobility Advisor, you will be responsibility for supporting one of more Global Mobility Managers across the team, managing Global Mobility Services for multiple business areas. The role sits within the Service Delivery team and provides support to campaign bids, business advisory and assignee lifecycle management.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and progress to a more senior role within the team.
Your main responsibilities as a Global Mobility Advisor will involve:
Supporting the Global Mobility Manager and deputise as the point of contact for HR managers and line managers as required.
Supporting the Global Mobility Manager in the development of best practice solutions for international mobility that meets the needs of the business in line with policy.
Managing the end to end assignment process acting as the primary point of contact for the assignee, applying a strong focus on continuous improvement for how the process can be made more efficient and effective.
Preparing and maintaining pre-departure briefing packs.
Producing cost estimates for all international assignments/relocations to establish indicative costs for the business.
Day to day point of contact for third party suppliers associated with assignment/relocation, instructing providers as required (e.g. immigration, tax briefings, removals, etc.) including regional destination service providers.
Delivering group and individual assignee briefings as and when required.
Your skills and qualifications:
Excellent working knowledge of Global Mobility / International assignment policies and processes
Excellent understanding of GMS principles around personal tax, corporate tax, immigration and employment law issues relating to Global Mobility
Quality driven, ensuring consistency and compliance
Good understanding of HR principles and practices (desirable)
