Job title: Grounds Technician
Location: Across our 8 sites in Birmingham Leisure
Working Hours: Monday to Sunday, 5 out of 7 days.
Salary: £22,000 per annum

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Grounds Technician to join our fun and vibrant team at our Birmingham Leisure sites.
As the Grounds Technician the purpose of your role is to be responsible for the delivery of grounds maintenance associated services and processes that support the operation of the sites, setting and ensuring the highest standards of safety, landscaping and grounds maintenance to ensure our Birmingham Leisure venues remain a beautiful, safe and clean place for our staff and customers.
The position will be varied and on a day to day basis, some of your responsibilities will include line marking, rotary mowing, devoting, fertilising, tractor and tractor mounted equipment work, changing litter bins, blowing leaves and any other grounds and landscape maintenance tasks as required.

First and foremost, it is desirable that you have relevant experience / knowledge of grounds or a similar environment and the flexibility to work in all grounds areas and other department when required.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as be self-motivated and the willingness to undertake further training.
Due to the travel required for this role in working for the various Birmingham sites the successful candidate will need to hold a clean driving license.
