Head of Learning Support

 

For this role, we are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated person to lead the cross-college function for Learning Support and High Needs Students. You will work closely with the Assistant Principal, Finance Director, High Needs Co-ordinator, Teaching Assistant Coordinator, SENDCo, Heads of Department, Specialist Learning Support Tutors and other staff with responsibility for learning support and funding. The successful applicant will have excellent knowledge of the 0-25 Code of Practice and High Needs funding and have a proven track record of managing a team. You will provide dynamic leadership ensuring effective, high quality, learner focused and cost-efficient management of all aspects of learning support across the college.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday with flexibility to meet business needs

 

Salary: £30,774 per annum - £32,728 which is Point A40 – 42 of the Senior Officer Scale on the Business Professional & Technical Grading Guidelines depending on skills and experience.

 

Job Purpose: To manage all aspects of learning support and High Needs across the college.
