We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Operations to join one of our corporate accounts. This is a rare and unique opportunity to head up one of the most innovative food programmes in the world.
The Head of Operations drives excellence in the service and experience of cafe operations. Identifies, motivates, trains, develops and directs team members to deliver exceptional service and accomplish goals and projects. This position oversees the administrative and operational tasks, including implementation of programs, financial management and analysis, sanitation and safety.
The Head of Operations will focus on innovative hospitality and creating the cafe experience for the client Food program in order to support operational excellence. Sets the standards for FOH operating systems and QA standards, hospitality, mentoring and development. This position reports into the Director of Operations for UK & South Europe and will leverage their strong communication, hospitality and operational skills to partner with key stakeholders (culinary, nutrition, marketing, behavioral science, concept development, procurement, risk management, operations and people ) to promote Client Food expectations and enhance user (partner) experience. Designs, manages and owns the overall experience, not just the offerings
Drives a culture of hospitality that is friendly and engaging

Oversees implementation of operational initiatives
Manages and mentors toward business goals, ensuring the maturation
and training of our team
Monitors and manages all financial responsibilities for area
Accountable for meeting budget and financial projects as they arise
Ensures all sector and Compass employee guidelines are implemented and adhered to
Creates a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
Treats everyone with professionalism, care and respect
Tours Cafés, overseeing, training and assisting with front of house merchandising
Revitalizes older cafes with new food programs, merchandising and equipment
Key relationship to our partner
Communicates with the our partner honestly, accurately and in a timely manner
Ensures teams work within budget while maintaining standards
Oversees and contributes to the successful opening of all new Cafés
Meets all timelines for quarter and year-end reports given by our partner and Sector
Works closely in conjunction with the Regional Executive Chef and Catering Team Who you are:
Large scale multi-site operational experience , with multi-unit restaurant or hotel
experience a must, managing a team of General Managers
Client ownership experience with strong stakeholder management at senior level
Strong commercial skills
Strategic thinker and demonstrated success
A proven track record as an innovative and financially responsible manager
Large team People Leadership skills and ability to develop winning teams
Ability to effectively communicate, motivate and interact with all levels within the
Strong passion for great food and hospitality
Experience in R&D, operations, or concept development a plus
A proven track record of leadership
Proven industry contacts and relationships that can be leveraged in networking and
recruitment of other team members
Proven ability to enhance profitability, sustainability and creativity across all channels in
alignment with business strategy
Proven coaching and teaching skills with peers, individuals, and teams
Ability to speak and present effectively in a group setting to Associates, Managers and our
partner and represent the Client Food Brand
Maintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate a team
Working knowledge of Client Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
