Salary (H4): £46,042 to £54,943 per annum, plus £2,166 per annum London Weighting

Full-time, permanent                       

The Directorate of Academic and Student Services is seeking to appoint a dedicated and innovative leader for our Timetabling and Examinations team. The main focus for this role will be the delivery of a suitable, timely, and efficient timetable for our students and staff.

The coordination and development of the timetable, for teaching and examinations, is a key business element of our education delivery. In this role you will work with a wide variety of stakeholders to assist with the production of the timetables and to continuously improve the system enabling best use of our teaching space on campus.

You will lead the timetabling team and the digital examinations team, ensuring that together they deliver the required outputs of our academic colleagues. Oversight of the exam invigilation and additional needs requirements are also key elements of this role.

You should have a degree or equivalent and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have experience and knowledge of working with corporate data and systems. Knowledge or use of Scientia or SITS is advantageous. You will be confident in problem solving and decision making and be able to clearly communicate complex systems to those without subject expertise.
