Healthcare Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Ophthalmology nursing team at Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.

We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, have a kind and caring attitude towards patients, families and colleagues and who will be positive team members. The roles will involve working across 2 sites YDH and the Yeatman hospital, both in the clinic and on the day ward.

The ophthalmology team offers a friendly, supportive, innovative and progressive environment where you will be encouraged to develop your advanced clinical skills and competencies.

The successful candidates will be supported by experienced senior staff and will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and professionally, with further training in house and externally to develop your skills and knowledge around our multiple and varied ophthalmology speciality.
