We are recruiting for a Highways Maintenance Operative to carry out a variety of highway maintenance duties as instructed on a day to day basis to ensure the efficient running of the Area 3 network.
Your key duties will include responding promptly to incidents on the network, working with the Network Control Centre on commencement and end of winter maintenance and occupation of Road space for Traffic Management, as well as ensuring that site and equipment is secure and safe at all times. You will be operating plant and equipment in order to carry out required duties effectively, whilst maintaining a safe and healthy working environment at all times. What do we need from you?
To be successful, you will ideally be 12ab Lantra Traffic Management trained, hold basic Lantra VRS qualification and experience and knowledge of strict Health & Safety operations. Due to the nature of the role you will also need to hold a full Driving Licence. What will you receive?
