We currently have a new opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Citizen Services HR Team in supporting our Customer, Professional, Employment & Skills business area.

If you are looking for your next challenge, working in a diverse, multi-discipline, fast-paced HR function, where you have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience then this is the role for you!  Being an influential HR Professional, the key element of your role as HRBP will be to support the delivery of the people strategy, working closely with operational managers to embed good people management practices and to ensure our business meets its strategic and operational goals.

As a key member of the Citizen Services HR team with strong generalist HR knowledge, you will work alongside the Senior HRBP and in collaboration with our HR Shared Service to deliver first class HR solutions and strategic plans, ensuring effective governance and financial control.

What you'll need to do the role:

To succeed in this highly visible role you should be an experienced generalist, used to operating in a large, complex, multi-discipline organisation, ideally within the public sector. It is essential that you possess knowledge of HR specialisms including ER, recruitment, case management, redundancy, salary benchmarking, pay and reward. TUPE experience would also be an advantage. 

MCIPD qualified, you will have strong commercial and business acumen. You will have the ability to understand and prioritise HR activity in line with contract and business needs and drive change in a constructive and pragmatic manner.

With a professional approach you must be able to demonstrate the confidence and gravitas required to challenge and influence demanding stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
