Integration Engineer

Would you like to play a key role in supporting a number of IT programmes? We currently have a vacancy for an Integration Engineer at our site in Christchurch, Dorset.

As an Integration Engineer, you will be supporting a large cross functional engineering team with upcoming work packages in the HTG Group. You will be providing assistance with tasks such as product development, monthly releases, delivery of new products to customer sites.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a new and exciting project within BAE systems, , we offer excellent career progression opportunities and you will be fully supported in your development within BAE Systems.

Your main responsibilities as an Integration Engineer will involve:

Developing releases across a number of operational systems

Supporting the team in managing and maintaining reference and development rigs at Christchurch

Occasional visits to customer sites to support deployment

Out of hours forth line support on rota basis
Your skills and qualifications:

Detailed knowledge of 2016, 2012 Server, Windows 10, 8 Operating Systems.

Active Directory & Group Policy Management
VMware, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX

Detailed experience of working with and using configuration management

Scripting and PowerShell

Experience of working in and with a DevOps environment

Degree within a relevant IT related discipline or equivalent hands on experience

You will have excellent communication an interpersonal skill with the ability to digest and exchange complex information to non-technical members of the team. You will be a highly self-motivated individual and have flexibility to your approach to work. You will be able to balance sometimes conflicting priorities and respond to tight timescales whilst keeping all stakeholders engaged.

Location: Christchurch, Dorset.

Salary: £36,000 + depending on experience and skills.
