Join us as an Intelligent Automation Lead

  • You’ll be fully accountable for the Intelligent Automation blueprint and roadmap, including the business model and architecture while delivering an end-to-end customer journey transformation

What you'll do

As an Intelligent Automation Lead, you’ll drive and lead the initiation, planning, design and implementation of all aspects of business change in line with the strategic direction of the function. You’ll be negotiating and managing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continuous engagement across a breadth of projects. You’ll also actively lead integration projects, making sure future state plans include the appropriate people, location and infrastructure.

You'll be accountable for the retail banking Intelligent Automation transformation strategy and roadmap, including building out automation capabilities and delivering programme benefits

You’ll also be:

  • Developing intelligent automation strategy and building a prioritised backlog in collaboration with customer business areas to deliver business value
  • Managing relationships with key senior stakeholders and delivering reimagined processes to achieve realisation of cost and productivity benefits
  • Scaling the automation programme by bringing in new capabilities such as machine learning
  • Building knowledge and understanding across the bank on how Intelligent Automation technologies can drive change and productivity
  • Identifying, coordinating and delivering continuous improvement initiatives and process re-engineering to the business model
  • Owning the business case, including a full view of benefits delivered
  • Overseeing the production of regular updates to drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Supporting and driving compliance with all business policies, to ensure delivery against statutory, regulatory and legal obligations

The skills you'll need

You'll need experience in key industry processes for process reimagination and digital discovery, such as Mortgages, Debt Management, Complaints, Telephony, Fraud, Regulatory Reporting, Claims and Underwriting, and prior experience of running a large transformation programme with RPA and associated tech. You should also have knowledge and exposure with ‘intelligent technologies’ and their impact on businesses including NLP, NLG, conversational AI, machine learning, chatbots, intelligent OCR, virtual agents, speech and text analytics.

We’ll also expect you to have:

  • Strong communication skills and experience of producing recommendation papers for executive and senior audiences
  • The ability to collaborate at different levels across the bank
  • Experience of operational and financial planning with a strong strategic awareness
  • Experience of relevant legal policies, regulatory and statutory obligations, risk management and internal governance framework
  • A background in leading diverse professional teams
