Job title: IT Business Partner - Citizen Services
Base location: Home based - North West
Salary: Up to £80,000
This role requires as a minimum to obtain and retain DBS & BPSS clearances

As the IT Business Partner for Citizen Services, you will lead the digital capability with a focus on enhancing the definition, delivery, and adoption of technology across the sector. You will be the executive driver of the sectors IT vision, directing IT aligned personnel and supplier/partner teams in the development and management of technical, service and commercial IT activities.
In this role you will need to be highly analytical with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work at all levels of the organisation, and within in a matrix environment including working with external partners and 3rd party suppliers. The position also requires you be adept at synthesizing various technologies and capabilities into the Citizen Services business that can be easily adopted by end-users.

What you'll need to do the role?
Firstly, you'll need demonstrable experience of working in IT Service led environments, or large-scale project management in complex/matrix environments. Preferably, this experience will be inclusive of IT Solution Design, Service Delivery & IT Service Management.
You'll need a broad understanding in the design and application of a broad spectrum of technologies. In addition, it's essential that you can quickly assimilate technical knowledge from the external market and identify ways this can be utilised within Citizen Services to add competitive advantage, improve performance and/or reduce cost.
Lastly, you'll need to be a visionary who is customer-future' oriented who can demonstrate calmness under pressure in order to effectively lead the IT service teams.
