A fantastic opportunity has been made available to join the bank as an IT Product Support Analyst. The Trading Platform Solutions function provides IT Support for applications under its remit to numerous business areas, including Front office, Middle office, Risk, Regulatory, Operations and Finance.
We are looking for an experienced IT Product Support Analyst to join our team. You'll be part of a close knit, service-oriented team that ensure business application availability, data quality and performance for all Trading Platform Solutions systems.
The difference you'll make.
Taking ownership for the identification, analysis, resolution, and escalation of queries / incidents impacting Trading Platform Solutions systems, flows and interfaces.
Delivering accurate and appropriate communication to affected business areas on issues that have been identified.
Identifying and executing workarounds for application errors where applicable.
Analysing relevant batch processing daily to monitor that the data utilised by the business is available within SLA ensuring that the data is accurate and complete.
Identifying and analysing items that have had an adverse impact on batch delivery.
Performing manual workaround tasks to allow batches to continue and reports to be available as normal, including re-running processes using Control-M, modification, and movement of files, etc.
What you'll bring.
Strong analytical skills, a proactive and service-oriented approach with excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Extensive experience of performing an analytical role within a similar environment.
Knowledge / understanding of overnight and intraday batch scheduling and processing in relation to the data they provide to various business units.
Prior experience of the applications, tools and processes utilised by Trading Platform Solutions such as Wall street, Murex, Global back office, Control - M, PLSQL and Unix
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience of calculating Accounting, Risk and PnL using Market Data and other variables to analyse reportedly incorrect or unexpected values.

The role is for an experienced IT Product Support Analyst to join our team on a 12-month secondment contract.
The position is London based with some remote/hybrid working. Time spent working from the London office will be agreed with your Line Manager when required.
