Our Kitchen Assistants ensure all back of house areas are kept clean, and observe COSHH and health and safety guidelines. As an integral part of the kitchen team,our Kitchen Assistants contribute to the overall safety & security performance scorecard. At the heart of our kitchen operations, each team member follows standardised processes designed to ensure a high quality & high standard of cleanliness & safety.

Salary - £12.00* hourly average*

This hourly rate is based on a base salary of £11.00 plus a qualified estimate of service charge and gratuities paid monthly in arrears.

What’s the Job?
• To ensure working environment is in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards
• Ensure proper storage of food and stock rotation
• To ensure compliance with all kitchen safety requirements
• To ensure the correct PPE is in place and guidelines are adhered to
• To observe COSHH guidelines when handling hazardous substances
• To Report any maintenance and, or, hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
• Carry out general cleaning as directed by kitchen manager

Preferred Experience/ Qualifications:
• Experience in a quality production style / branded environment
• Evidence of ability to lead change with new technologies and ways of working
• Basic Food Safety Qualification (or equivalent) 

• Immediate start
