More about the role:

The Labour Reporting Analyst will be central in supporting our colleagues deliver the best service to our clients and customers across thousands of sites within the UK and Ireland. Working within the UK Finance function and aligned to the WFM project, the Labour Reporting Analyst will support with the writing, enhancement and ongoing maintenance of reports within IBM Cognos 10, IBM Cognos Analytics, Infor BIRST and Microsoft Excel. The Labour Reporting Analyst will support with the testing of the data feed between the Infor WFM product and Compass Group's instance of Cognos.

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Business Analyst, but will be required to show initiative in order recommend best practices for report development. There will be the potential and expectation for the Labour Reporting Analyst to enhance their skillsets in the areas of reporting and data analysis. This is a new and exciting position, with the opportunity to shape how we deliver labour spend information across a large and diverse business.

Who you are:

Essential

  • Excellent knowledge of Cognos 10 or Cognos Analytics
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge, including PowerQuery and PowerPivot
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working under pressure
  • Desire to learn and develop, particularly within the areas of reporting and analysis
  • Problem solver.

Desirable

  • Experience of Infor or other WFM system
  • Experience of Infor BIRST
  • Experience of SAP
