Large Corporate Case Manager

As a Barclays Large Corporate Case Manager, you will deal with the end to end lending process from receipt of sanction to drawdown of a facility. This includes reviewing the sanction, production and issuance of facility documentation, fit to lend and drawdown for new, interim and annual reviews for BI clients. Your other accountabilities will include coordinating the taking of Collateral Security and working closely with the various Operationa /Legal areas.

What will you be doing?

•    Managing the end to end of BI lending cases from submission to drawdown
•    Acting as the gatekeeper for approving the bank is ready to loan clients funds
•    Providing processing assistance to Relationship Directors within a nominated region-client base, predominately BI names with complex & bespoke group structures
•    Providing portfolio management and pro-actively driving lending cases from receipt of cases through to drawdown in order to meet client timelines and expectations
•    Collaborating with key processing areas e.g. Collateral (Security) /Credit/Product etc.  to ensure completion of cases end to end 
•    Working closely with, Credit, Risk, Solicitors and others to ensure client requirements are met and the Bank’s position is safeguarded
•    Prioritising differing and demanding changes in client requirements, products and deal structures

What we’re looking for:

•    Professional/Technical Experience, proven knowledge of Lending Fulfilment procedures, processes & Controls
•    Proven experience in an Operations role within Lending/Debt Product including 
•    Extensive knowledge of Internal lending and security processes and procedures relevant to Barclays Corporate client base
•    Proactive management of a portfolio, providing first class service throughout the Client journey

Skills that will help you in the role

•    Knowledge of legislation affecting the Bank (including the Data Protection Act, Consumer credit, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, Financial Services Act and Money Laundering
•    Proficient in use of internal computer systems including Siebel, Zeus, Fullserve, GPT and any other appropriate platform applications
