You will work on a wide range of commercial laundry equipment including, washers, dryers, ironers, folders, stacking, sorting and conveyer systems. This will require the individual to possess a fully skilled, self-motivated and proactive ability working safely but effectively as a valued member of the engineering team.
You should be apprentice trained or hold a Level 3 related qualification in a suitable and relevant discipline and have a good demonstratable knowledge within this field and be someone that takes pride in their work.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the team ensuring that the Trusts “Visions and Values” are maintained at all times, focusing on engineering excellence, integrity and support for the wider Estates team.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Early 06:00 - 14:00 and/or Late 14:00 - 22:00. You may also be rostered occasionally on Day duty, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 to assist with work load.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
