About the Role.
Here at Babcock International we're looking for a Lead Administrator (Management Systems) to join us at HMNB Devonport, one of the largest naval bases in Western Europe. We're a key strategic partner to our customers; the MOD and the Royal Navy. We ensure that the UK Royal Navy goes to sea safely by supporting them in Devonport and around the world, delivering complex ship and submarine sustainment programmes and applying our core strengths of technology and expertise to sustain critical and complex assets to help maintain national security.
As a Lead Administrator you'll provide administrative governance of the Business Management System (BMS) application, key amongst this is to provide accurate data related to the business performance of internal, regulatory and legislative findings, this includes internal and external company audits and investigative findings. You'll also be responsible for providing in-house training for new users in the functionality of BMS.
What do I need to do the role?
You'll be educated to minimum GCSE grade A-C, including English Literature & Language and Mathematics, and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration or equivalent qualification (or be willing to work towards this).
We would also like you to have the following:
* Knowledge of a typical Business Management System (BSM)
* Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills
* The ability to work flexibly and with minimum supervision.
* Knowledge and experience of Agility and Q-pulse is desirable
* Good knowledge of the creation of process map.
* Demonstrable Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel (advanced ability), Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Lastly, good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential attributes for this post, as is the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
What else do I need to know?
The successful candidate will hold, or be eligible to acquire, national Security Clearance at the appropriate level for this post.
