Lead Clinical Psychologist (Eating Disorders)

Job Description

You will take a lead role in ensuring this forward thinking service is psychologically informed, demonstrating competence in consultation, training, supervision &  committed to promoting psychological thinking with the team. 

 

      To be responsible for promoting the psychological health and well-being of clients in the Eating Disorders team within the Trust. 

        To ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service to clients of the team, across all sectors of care.

        To supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other psychologists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment.

        To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise delegated responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the team. 

        To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research. 

        To propose and implement policy changes within the area served by the team.
