The job itself

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Level 2 Wraparound Care Worker to lead our thriving Breakfast Club and After School Club, providing high-quality care for children aged 3 to 7 years. (The post can be split Breakfast Club only, After School Club only or both combined)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and dedicated team, where you will play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment that supports children's wellbeing, development and enjoyment before and after the school day.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping with the day-to-day organisation and supervision of our wraparound provision, promoting positive behaviour, ensuring children's safety and wellbeing. You will work closely with school leaders, parents and colleagues to ensure that every child has a positive and enriching experience.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 2 qualification recognised as full and relevant for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Has experience of working with children aged 3-7 years.
  • Is passionate about providing high-quality childcare and play opportunities.
  • Can work well as part of a small team.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Is flexible, reliable and able to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
