Monarch Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a friendly and nurturing pre-school setting in Kingswood, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join a supportive early years team from September.
The Role
As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children within the pre-school setting. Working closely with colleagues, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can learn through play and develop essential early years skills.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about giving young children the best possible start to their education.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Planning and delivering engaging play-based activities
- Encouraging children's social, emotional, and communication development
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress
- Supporting children's personal care and daily routines where required
- Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
- Promoting children's independence, confidence, and curiosity

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Has previous experience working in a nursery or pre-school setting
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic
- Can build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Is proactive, organised, and able to use their initiative
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is passionate about supporting children's early development and learning
