At the Royal Air Forces Association, we understand that providing outstanding childcare is really important to our serving RAF communities. As the charity that supports the RAF family, we’re excited to be recruiting additional staff at RAFA Kidzone, Cranwell.

Due to the popularity of the Out of School Club and an increase in the number of children who attend daily, we have a new position available for an experienced practitioner who holds a minimum Level 3 Early Years childcare qualification (or equivalent)

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a childcare setting, preferably within a 4-11 year old environment. Responsibilities include ensuring safety for children on the walk to and from school and setting up an attractive and exciting play space ensuring that hygiene and health and safety standards are met.  A basic food safety certificate would be desirable as refreshments and snacks will be provided for the children. You will need to have a good understanding of the principles of safeguarding children (to be tested at interview) along with previous experience of maintaining records that fulfil Ofsted requirements as laid out in the EYFS.
