Salary (Grade S6): £27,924 to £32,344 per annum plus £2,166 per annum London Weighting

Due to internal restructure, an excellent opportunity has arisen within the finance team for a Management Accountant. This is key role within finance and will support the Finance Business Partner to deliver high-quality financial information to the business. The Management Accountant will lead on the day-to-day financial tasks and take ownership of the month end process. You will assist the Financial Business Partner with forecasting and annual planning, and help the business to achieve the goals through relevant, insightful and timely reporting and analysis. You will actively contribute to process improvement projects ensuring that finance is continuously evolving in its service delivery.      

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar finance role and is qualified or actively pursuing a qualification. Detailed knowledge of planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as sound knowledge of management of the Income & Expenses /Profit & Loss, is essential.

You will be an excellent communicator and possess the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. You will have good prioritisation skills and excellent attention to detail, coupled with the ability to meet competing deadlines. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
