Monarch Education are working with schools in and around Malmesbury who are looking for reliable, confident and adaptable Maths Teachers to support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 from the start of the new academic year.

The role
As a Supply Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging pre-planned Maths lessons, maintain a safe and purposeful classroom environment and support pupils with their numeracy, problem-solving and subject knowledge during teacher absence.

This role is ideal for qualified teachers who are looking for flexible supply work, short-term cover or the possibility of longer-term placements depending on school requirements.

You will be:
* Delivering pre-planned Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Supporting pupils with numeracy, problem-solving and mathematical understanding
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Promoting a safe, organised and positive learning environment
* Adapting teaching approaches to meet different learning needs
* Encouraging confidence, resilience and independent thinking
* Working closely with department staff and senior leaders
* Providing feedback to teaching staff where required
* Following safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times

We are looking for someone who is:
* A qualified teacher with QTS
* Experienced or confident teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting
* Confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Flexible, reliable and professional
* Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly
* Calm and confident with classroom management
* Organised, proactive and adaptable
* Committed to supporting pupil progress, confidence and wellbeing

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching Maths in a UK school setting
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
* Right to work in the UK
* Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks
