About the role
Here at Babcock International, we're looking to recruit a Multi-SkilledDriver to be responsible for providing a transport service, which includes driving a variety of military and civilian vehicles, on and off road.
* Supporting the Royal Engineers
* Supplying people/explosives/equipment out to training areas
* Driving specialist vehicles, military trucks, coaches, minibuses
* Taking troops to demolition areas for demo exercises
This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with tactical work, driving a variety of vehicles in interesting environments.
What do I need to do the role?
You must have a Category C licence as a minimum but would prefer Cat C & Cat D. C+E and D would also be desirable.
You will also be happy to be flexible with hours and work some overtime.
What else do I need to know?
Working hours are 37 per week Monday to Friday 8:00-16.30 but you will be required to work some unsociable hours and 12 hour shifts at paid overtime.
