Infrastructure Project Managers liaise with business areas, Santander UK IT colleagues, IT colleagues in other countries and our 3rd party resources and suppliers across the globe to deliver multiple (often concurrent) IT infrastructure projects that align to the strategies of the bank.

What you'll bring.
Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple large, complex IT infrastructure projects
Have a flexible and 'can do' attitude with a strong sense of initiative with the ability to learn fast and deal calmly with situations under pressure
Possess the ability to translate high level business and technical objectives into project deliverables
Understanding and articulating technical changes with the technical teams, including input to design changes where necessary
Be effective in a team environment and be willing to contribute to collective targets, collaborating with IT colleagues to achieve successful delivery of projects
It would also be nice for you to have.
Previous experience working in IT in banking and/or other financial institution
A background in technology
Good knowledge of testing methodologies and performance, penetration and DR test plan management
Exposure to desktop solutions, Websphere, Active Directory, Networks, PaaS, IaaS, AWS, Openstack, Confluence, Jira, Kanban

Our technology stack is broad and constantly changing. Our projects vary in size from small VPN setup through to large multi workstream programmes using the very latest technologies.
We value up-skilling the entire team. To this end, we are seeking candidates who will contribute to the continuous improvement of our team, both through teaching and through learning.
This is a permanent role to be based at our Milton Keynes office. However, there is a degree of remote/homeworking with attendance at the Milton Keynes office circa 1 day per week, or as agreed with your Line Manager.
