An exciting new vacancy has arisen within the Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with appropriate experience of working with vulnerable people in the community. You will work as part of a team and on your own initiative. This is an exciting time to join the Occupational Therapy team as we move forward with our integration agenda. This is a full time, peripatetic role covering all localities and will focus on private sector housing.
You will work with people of all ages who require specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention. There is a key focus on early intervention, prevention and a reablement approach across all services. You will be expected to undertake comprehensive assessments and to arrange the provision of equipment, adaptations and community supports to assist individuals to achieve their optimum level of independence in the community. You will have strong assessment skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively with service users and carers. You will be able to demonstrate experience of multi-disciplinary working and be committed to working closely with colleagues from other disciplines. Experience in building design and complex environmental adaptations is also highly desirable. You must be able to work effectively within a team and demonstrate a commitment to improving service provision. You will have good organisational skills and be able to manage a busy caseload. You must have a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy, be registered with HCPC and have Full Driving Licence
