Officer Systems & Data Auditor - Bristol

Job Description

The role of an Officer Systems and Data Auditor is varied and could involve:

• interviewing customers and their representatives as part of supporting investigations, either virtually or face-to-face by visiting customers premises across your region and at times outside of your region, including overnight stays.

• supporting operational colleagues with the technical aspects of the role

• identifying and documenting systems and audit trails, including details of the different software used by the customer.

• analysing and evaluating basic systems and datasets as well as supporting Higher Officer Systems Auditors with in-depth analysis of more complex systems and data, using a variety of tools

• testing accuracy of customers' financial accounting and tax liabilities

• updating and sharing internal guidance with approvers, including internal guidance, knowledge of systems, audit techniques and best practise in-line with the systems encountered and audits undertaken

• reconstructing partial data records using best judgement, logic, and available evidence

• producing audit reports to document your findings and recommendations
