We are looking for an empathetic, informative and professional individual to join our bereavement services team. You will be a small team player with a flexible working approach and be well presented with professional high standards.
You will be assisting in co-ordinating funeral services, acting as a chapel attendant, taking responsibility for music arrangements and ensuring mourners feel they have been treated with care and respect. This role also requires you to carry out cremations, transfer of the deceased from multiple locations, assist in the provision of Public Health and Family led low cost funerals and provide a high standard of cleaning throughout our public areas.
We are looking for someone with proven experience of working within a ‘caring profession’ ideally with previous knowledge of customer focussed services and excellent communication skills. In addition to being physically fit to be able to handle the work, you will ideally hold a Cremator Operator Certificate (though this is not essential). You will need good IT skills as you will also provide occasional administrative support in our office, taking funeral bookings and assisting the public in choosing a memorial in commemoration of their loved one.
