George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust and South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting and new Organisation Development Lead to work across both Organisations.
The role is integral to both organisations in delivering key workforce strategies and to ensure the team has effective leadership.
- Provide leadership for Organisational Development (OD) across both GEH and SWFT, ensuring alignment with the workforce strategy, organisational culture, transformation agenda and the delivery of high-quality care.
- Design and oversee OD programmes including leadership & management development and talent & succession planning.
- Ensure OD activity is aligned with business priorities, supporting the development of a high performing, inclusive and resilient workforce.

- Lead the Organisational Development (OD) and Health & Wellbeing (HWB) functions, manage the OD and HWB teams, budgets, resources and governance.
- Work with senior leaders to identify OD/HWB needs, design solutions (e.g. leadership programmes, team development, behavioural change, culture transformation).
- Develop and implement organisation-wide interventions for employee engagement, staff experience and talent management/ succession planning.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of OD interventions, produce reports and insight, recommend improvements and ensure continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure OD practices are inclusive, equitable and support diversity, equality and inclusion.
- Collaborate across People/HR, Learning & Development, Workforce Planning, and other business partners to ensure OD is integrated into workforce strategy and organisational performance.
- Represent the organisation on OD matters externally on behalf of the Head of OD as required, maintain awareness of national best practice.
- Ensure risk management, policy oversight, governance and assurance within the OD function, supporting the Trust/ICS to manage OD-related risks.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility.
