Job Description

Sistema Scotland is seeking to recruit an Evaluation & Monitoring Officer to join our central team based in Raploch, Stirling (based at home initially, due to current Scottish Government guidance).

You will be the primary evaluation specialist within Sistema Scotland ensuring a robust, ongoing evaluation and monitoring programme is in place to support the organisation to deliver the best quality outcomes for our communities. You will support the dissemination of knowledge and new evidenced practice within the organisation; monitor performance to meet the needs of key stakeholders; and be the key link with external independent evaluation organisations.

Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, you will have experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodology, including analysing large and complex datasets. You will be proficient in data presentation and report production, using a range of presentation styles and graphic design processes. This post will also require you to have relevant experience in conducting interviews and focus groups for data collection. The ability to communicate confidently (both verbal and written) and to be able to mix appropriately with a wide range of people, whilst maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and discretion will be essential. You will have experience within health, social or education research involving qualitative and quantitative methods.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of the benefits of early intervention and social interventions. You will be able to work independently and manage a portfolio of work effectively, therefore you will require excellent organisational skills and the ability to analyse problems and prioritise actions.

This is a permanent post, working 3 days a week (days of work to be confirmed). The salary scale is £28,425 - £31,704 (pro-rata).
