A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Payments Centre of Excellence who are responsible for ensuring that Santander UK continues to deliver a compliant customer experience through a rapidly changing payments landscape. As a Payments Transformation Manager your role will be to provide subject matter expertise and ownership for discrete deliverables and/or projects with accountability for delivering to time and quality.

Primary focus will be on regulatory and industry projects, initial, specific focus will be on Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) Renewal and SWIFT CBPR+ programme, as well as internal strategic projects. With so much change on the horizon this role presents a great opportunity to be at the forefront of major technological, customer and business change.

  • Performing analytical work on the project, delivering change through a number of methodologies

  • Working and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across industry and regulatory

  • Ensuring all agreed outputs and decisions are documented using agreed tools throughout project lifecycle through to implementation

  • Undertaking the review and evaluation of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, innovation and efficiencies

  • Supporting the preparation and development of presentations and delivery where necessary to support communication and decision-making at various levels of the organisation

What you'll bring.

  • Previous hands-on analytical experience within Payments

  • Experience of large-scale change programmes

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • An understanding of high-level business needs, with the ability translate into requirements and project delivery

  • Excellent communications and stakeholder management experience at all levels, with experience of presenting to Senior Management

  • Familiar with emerging Financial Services trends and their application in the industry

What else you need to know.

The location on this role is London (preferred), however it can be based at Milton Keynes or other Santander sites. There will be a requirement to attend Santander office in London once per week, or as agreed with your Line Manager
