Join us as a Performance & Business Management Manager

  • We're looking for someone with experience of working with executive and senior leaders to join us in a role with fast changing priorities
  • You'll be providing crucial support to senior leaders  with business support activities, reporting requirements, data analysis, communications and presentations
  • Main role focus will be on resourcing and contract management activities, so as such will also require some 3rd party interactions
  • You can be based anywhere in the country for this role, but we'll need you to have the flexibility to travel to our Bristol office at least once a week
  • We're offering a salary range of £38,560 - £57,840 for this role

What you'll do

In this role, you'll be supporting senior leaders to plan ahead and deliver our business strategy in line with our long-term goals. You'll also be overseeing and implementing bank-wide, divisional and business activities, and engagement agendas such as resourcing, contract management, leadership team operating rhythms and the creation of papers and executive reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support in meetings including creating agendas, capturing actions, share content during sessions and preparing reports and papers
  • Driving and implementing processes aligned to bank-wide policy and business frameworks
  • Working in partnership with areas across the bank in the planning and management of business support activities, projects and processes
  • People planning, including capability, engagement and communications
  • Reviewing relevant MI and providing analysis of data
  • Financial and headcount reporting, including the overview of monthly cost report checking, monthly forecasting, budget setting, and cost control initiatives

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with experience of working closely with executive and senior leaders with managing business support activities, new initiatives, and projects or processes. You'll additionally need a broad knowledge of the customer business and how it interacts with the rest of our business.

We'll also look to you to demonstrate:

  • Expertise in reviewing relevant MI, providing analysis of data and delivering presentation packs for executive reporting requirements
  • Experience of working in partnership with areas across a business and externally to plan and manage business support activities, projects and processes
  • High proficiency in report writing and use of full MS Office suite to an advanced level, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • The ability to work at pace and with flexibility to deliver to regular short timescales to respond to business challenges and incidents
  • Strong problem-solving skills
