Preferred base forthis post is Helensburgh although other baseswithin Argyll & Bute HSCP may be considered
You will provide a highly professional, comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Argyll & Bute Health & Social Care Lead Pharmacist and be the first contact for the HSCP Pharmacy Team. This involves correspondence, word processing, incoming/outgoing mail, creating & maintaining database systems, filing, photocopying, minute taking etc. Other responsibilities will be scheduling appointments and meetings. This includes using own your initiative to filter and select and re-arrange suchlike as appropriate.
You will have a HNC in Office Administration / Information Management or significant experience of working in a similar working environment. You should also have a high level of IT literacy including a European Computer Driving License (ECDL) qualification or equivalent. A high level of experience and competence in Microsoft Office Packages (i.e.Outlook/Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint) is essential.
Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal are essential as well as a high degree of interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with highly confidential/sensitive issues in an appropriate manner.
