You will need to be organised, have good written and verbal communication skills, able to analyse and interpret data and ideally have an understanding of local plan making. You will need an appropriate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline, or be studying towards or have a willingness to study towards this. Experience of planning and in particular local plan work is desirable although training will be provided.
