Kier Specialist Services are recruiting for a Pre-Construction Planner to join our passionate Capital Projects Team.
With our diverse portfolio of projects, we are looking for Pre-Construction Planner who has a passion for the project at hand and securing work whilst also being able to work within a good and healthy team environment. We understand this approach is essential to ensure we consistently win work and secure repeat business. You will be working on a portfolio of projects predominately in the residential and occupied building arena, ranging from large refurbishment projects to cladding remediation and small construction projects, with values in the range of £1m - £10m.
As a Pre-Construction Planner your role will be key to the growth strategy of this area of the business. Producing effective programmes, logistics and methodologies as part of our collaborative Pre-Construction and delivery teams within our core markets across the UK.
This role will focus on leading and owning the planning process and working collaboratively with our pre-construction and operational teams. An integral member of our team, you'll coordinate and manage the production of high-quality programmes from inception through to project completion, taking ownership of the process and documentation.
What do we need from you?
Can you do it? Yes you can - ideally you'll have experience of planning and programming non-residential, capital works projects within varying sectors; detailed knowledge of construction in both new & refurbishment work; have relevant qualifications to this position; and have experience using planning software such as Asta and Microsoft Project. Experience with InDesign or SketchUp would be useful.
