Primary School Teaching Assistant - Liverpool

CER are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to work within Liverpool Primary Schools, supporting pupils aged 4 to 11 years. We offer both block bookings and day-to-day assignments where you can either work 5 days a week within the same school or, if you're looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance, choose the days you are available to work across a variety of local schools.

This gives you the opportunity to gain experience in different school settings close to home while finding the right school environment for you.

Location: Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley

Pay Range: £90 - £110 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential)
  • A DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Satisfactory references from previous employers - will need to cover 2 years
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
