Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The role involves conducting neuropsychological assessment, including cognitive assessment to inform rehabilitation.  As well as supporting people with neurological conditions and brain injury in their rehabilitation goals much of the work is about helping people to adjust to their diagnosis and maximise their quality of life.  Many of the staff use a range of therapeutic models in their work.  Sometimes the role is about supporting the people around the patient via systemic work with families and consultation to other professionals.  This post will also include managing junior staff and providing clinical supervision.  This post would best suit someone who has worked in neuropsychology and has experience of management duties.
