Annual salary: up to £75,000.00

Principle Retrofit Solutions Manager 

Remote

Full Time Remote role, paying a salary of up to £75,000 depending on experience, plus either car allowance or a company car.

Mears has made excellent progress in meeting the carbon reduction and sustainability agenda as a business. Mears supports our network of social housing clients with the full end to end process of domestic retrofit from stock modelling, scheme definition, design, securing available external funding to delivery and outcome measurement. Mears is currently working on client and public funded schemes to retrofit over 4000 homes and has an aspiration to be the lead in social housing domestic retrofit.

You will have experience of developing domestic retrofit solutions and ensuring PAS 2035 and related compliance as well as a passion for carbon reduction. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and be at the forefront of building Mears Group capability to meet the needs of our clients and the business now and in the future. You will be able to put your stamp on the future carbon reduction approach and develop support to our growing network of clients across the UK and Mears Group as an organisation. 

Role Criteria

To support our aspiration, we are growing our specialist team We are looking for an innovative self-starter to support the Head of Carbon Reduction Solutions to coordinate service delivery in relation to:

  • Domestic retrofit solution design to existing and prospective clients to support them to deliver their carbon reduction priorities and net zero aspirations

  • Domestic retrofit accreditation and compliance requirements of the Group

  • Coordination of PAS2035 services

Person Specification

To be successful in this role you must hold the following:

  • Broad experience and track record of developing solutions for domestic retrofit and related projects to affect change

  • Experience of domestic retrofit accreditation and PAS2035 and related compliance requirements

  • Experience in delivering domestic retrofit / asset management related initiatives and projects

  • Client relationship management experience

  • Leading and/or delivering outstanding customer focused services

  • Working with internal and external partners to deliver projects and initiatives

  • Managing a team
