About the role
Here at Babcock International, we're looking to recruit a Project Engineer to ensure all engineering activities in connection with the design and implementation of Rail Telecoms project work are co-ordinated and technically compliant to Client and Company Standards.
You will be responsible for identifying any changes to scope and initiating change requests. You will also act as the main engineering point of contact and work as an integral part of the project team.
What do I need to do the role?
You must hold minimum HNC in Electronic / Electrical discipline, and hold or be working towards IRSE Licence Holder status.
You will have proven experience in a similar role, CRE or Senior Engineer delivering Telecoms or Signalling project works within the Rail sector.
You will also demonstrate strong commercial awareness, planning & organising and communication skills.
A valid UK driving licence is essential.
What else do I need to know?
There will be a requirement to travel to site as and when required across the UK and Northern Ireland with possible overnight stays.
