As a Project Manager- - Submarine Maintenance Planning Application Development, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Babcock's Submarine Support Engineering (SSE) Group is contracted to provide engineering and design services support to the Ministry of Defence, and in particular, In-service Submarines (ISM) Project Team who form part of the Defence Engineering and Support Organisation. We are recruiting a Project Manager to be embedded into the Submarine Support Engineering (SSE) Programme Management (PM) team currently based in BTC, Stoke Gifford, Bristol.

Day to day, you'll provide your Project Management experience to deliver the phased development of a submarine maintenance planning application that is being developed in-house by the Babcock Digital Solutions Team. This role is on a full-time, permanent basis.

Essential experience

* Experience of working with the Ministry of Defence is desirable.
* Experience of Software Development Project Management would be an advantage.
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project Web App.
* Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and Microsoft PowerPoint.
* Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint.
