Job Description

Location: Atlanta 
Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days in office

Gleeds is currently seeking a Project Scheduler to be based out of the Atlanta office and help serve project and client needs. The successful candidates will be responsible for the development, management and updating of the project schedules.

Role and Responsibilities (including but are not limited to): 

Candidates are required to have experience in the following areas:
  • Develop schedules around project WBS 
  • Understand and incorporate logic into the schedule
  • Define the critical path 
  • Incorporate resources and budgets into the schedule 
  • Undertake weekly progress updates during project meetings and proactively engage the PM by:
    • Bringing suggestions or changes based on input from track leads
    • Identify potential threats to meeting schedule
    • Take direction from PM to obtain additional information as needed for the updating of the schedule
  • Review and validate subcontractor schedules
  • Re-forecast completion dates and communicate key changes to the PM
  • Forecast future resource requirements
  • Develop and publish look ahead reports 
  • Support cash flow forecasting with schedule reports and forecast completion dates  

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
  • Industrial or Commercial sectors 
  • Three (3) – Five (5) years project scheduling experience  or Project Management experience
  • Proficient in Primavera P6  
  • Thoroughly understands and utilizes Information Technology in the performance of their work including Adobe Acrobat, Micosoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.  
  • Relationship building / team work
  • Self-reliant
  • Not afraid to ask questions to drive understanding of concepts, path forward or implications of scheduled activities being pushed

  •  BA/BS in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, related Engineering Field or equivalent industry experience.
