Job Description

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is a unitary authority in the Royal Borough of Berkshire delivering a wide range of service to residents, business and visitors.

 

The Role

RBWM ocuupies and manages a wide range of properties to deliver services, support the community and to generate rental income to support budgets.

 

The property portfolio is managed by the Council's property services team often in partnership with the Council's Property Company as well as the services across the Council.

 

The Property Records and GIS officer works as part of a small professional team, reporting to the Senior Asset Manager, and is responsible for maintaining the Council's asset database, property records and mapping systems. The role involves supporting the property services function, Property Company and legal services teams.

 

This role will be employed within RBWM and any successful candidate will on day one be seconded to the Property Company.

 

What we are looking for

  • An IT literate individual with an interest property and the built environment having a key eye for detail
  • Experience of Civica/TF Cloud asset database and Global Information Systems desirable but training can be provided
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and requests
  • Ability to work as part of a team
