What is the Role?

We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Development Project Manager to manage and co-ordinate the development of all large capital projects (Load, Non-Load, VISTA etc) across two regions within the SHE Transmission territory.

The role involves managing a team of development project managers in development of all large and/or complex capital & connection projects in the regions through Large Capital Projects, securing the next stages of funding throughout the development process in order to deliver projects on time and on budget for the safeguarding of the future transmission network of SSE.

You will manage the regional programme to ensure all projects are progressed in line with contractual and regulatory commitments and ensure efficient use of resource across all support functions (internal and external).

This will include sign off responsibility for transmission connection offers within the transmission business.

To be considered for this position, you should have experience managing the development of an infrastructure project through the optioneering/routing stages of project development. Detailed knowledge of SHE Transmission costing and finance report systems is required and previous experience of managing and reporting on a significant annual budget circa £50m plus.
